This artwork was created by Olothando, a 16 year old from our Lalela program in Philippe Village. Raised by a devoted single mother, Olo is driven and compassionate-often supporting younger learners and assisting peers with their work. Olo channels his hope for a better future into art, using illustration and writing to tell powerful stories that rise above the ongoing violence within his community.
